Quick Dal (Lentil Soup)

Dal (Lentils)

1 cup red lentils (soaked overnight)
1 tablespoon ghee or butter
½ teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
Salt to taste 

Optional:
3 tablespoon onions (chopped) 
2 tablespoon tomatoes (chopped) 
½ teaspoon turmeric powder 
½ teaspoon garlic paste

Optional Garnish
few leaves of cilantro (Dhanai to sprinkled after done)

1 Boil lentils with all ingredients in 2 cups water until cooked
2 Garnish and serve hot with rice
  Also spelled Daal.
Soaking lentil in water overnight or more help cook lentils fast.
